The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 146.56 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2024 as compared to Rs 77.16 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 89.94 per cent.
Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 50.52 per cent at Rs 2,055.78 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 1,365.78 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 48.66 per cent to Rs 1,810.18 crore from Rs 1,217.67 crore in year ago period.
Other Income dipped by 5.84 per cent at Rs 42.22 crore versus (Mar'23 Rs 44.84 crore).
Operating Profit surged by 65.82 per cent to Rs 245.60 crore as against Rs 148.11 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 10.24 per cent in March quarter.
Interest grew by 101.68 per cent y-o-y to Rs 33.70 crore, while Taxation increased by 1.94 per cent at Rs 36.17 crore (Mar'23 Rs 35.48 crore).
