TVS Motor reports 20% growth in June sales

TVS Motor Company reported robust growth in June 2025, with total monthly sales rising 20% year-on-year to 402,001 units, compared to 333,646 units in June 2024.

The company’s two-wheeler segment saw a significant 20% increase, with sales climbing to 385,698 units in June 2025 from 322,168 units a year earlier. Domestic two-wheeler sales rose by 10%, reaching 281,012 units compared to 255,734 units in the same month last year. Within this category, motorcycles registered a 24% growth, with sales increasing from 152,701 to 188,774 units, while scooter sales surged 26%, rising from 128,986 to 162,291 units.

In the electric vehicle (EV) segment, TVS recorded sales of 14,400 units in June 2025, down from 15,859 units in June 2024. The company attributed the dip to ongoing supply chain disruptions, particularly related to the availability of magnets, despite continued strong retail demand for the TVS iQube.

TVS Motor’s international business posted impressive growth, with total exports rising 54% to 117,145 units in June 2025, up from 76,074 units a year ago. Two-wheeler exports grew by 58%, reaching 104,686 units, compared to 66,434 units in June 2024.

The three-wheeler segment also performed well, with sales increasing 42% to 16,303 units, up from 11,478 units in the same month last year.

For the first quarter of FY 2025-26, TVS Motor reported its highest-ever quarterly sales, totaling 12.77 lakh units. Two-wheeler sales grew 17% year-on-year, rising from 10.56 lakh units in Q1 FY25 to 12.32 lakh units in Q1 FY26. The three-wheeler segment posted a 46% increase, with sales reaching 0.45 lakh units, up from 0.31 lakh units a year earlier. Total exports for the quarter also rose sharply by 39%, climbing from 2.54 lakh to 3.52 lakh units.

The strong performance across segments underscores TVS Motor's continued momentum in both domestic and international markets.
