Union (Mauritius) Holdings Ltd, owned and promoted by Dr. Azad Moopen and family, has acquired an additional 46.09 lakh equity shares of Aster DM Quality Care Ltd, representing around 0.57% of the company’s paid-up equity capital.

The shares were purchased from TPG-backed Centella Mauritius Holdings Ltd on September 2, 2026, at ?760 per share, for an aggregate consideration of approximately ?350.34 crore.

Following the acquisition, the Moopen family’s stake in Aster DM Quality Care has increased to around 24.58%.

The company said the acquisition further strengthens the promoter family’s ownership and reflects its confidence in the long-term growth potential of Aster DM Quality Care and its integrated healthcare platform.
