Redington Gulf signs strategic agreement with AWS to accelerate AI Adoption Across META Region

Redington Gulf has signed a strategic collaboration agreement (SCA) with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to accelerate the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud solutions across the Middle East, Turkey and Africa (META) region.

The agreement aims to help businesses simplify technology adoption, speed up deployment and scale cloud and AI solutions to improve business outcomes. Under the collaboration, Redington Gulf will act as a distributor and work with other AWS Partner Network (APN) members to expand access to technology solutions and expertise across the region.

Redington Gulf recently achieved the AWS AI Services Competency and AWS Digital Sovereignty Services Competency, taking its total number of AWS Competencies to six. These recognitions demonstrate its capabilities in AI-led transformation, digital sovereignty, cloud modernisation, migration, SAP consulting, small and medium business services and security consulting.

According to Sayantan Dev, Chief Executive Officer of Redington’s Software Solutions Group, the agreement will create opportunities in emerging areas such as agentic AI, particularly in high-growth markets such as Saudi Arabia. It will also help partners strengthen capabilities and expand access to solutions through AWS Marketplace.

Afaf Chekkar, Director of EMEA Strategic Partners at AWS, said the collaboration would support faster cloud and AI adoption across Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East, enabling businesses to access solutions that drive innovation and business value.

Going forward, Redington Gulf and AWS will work together to develop new opportunities for partners and customers to access emerging technologies, build solutions using AWS services and address evolving market requirements.
