Delhi blasts accused held in Azamgarh

Uttar Pradesh's anti-terror squad claims to have arrested a militant belonging to the Indian Mujahideen, for his alleged role in the September 2008 Delhi serial blasts. Shahzad Ahmed, 23, was picked up from his village in Azamgarh. Police claim he was also involved in encounter that took place just days after the blasts. "Delhi Police had set prize money of Rs 5 lakh on Shahnawaz Ahmed, the terrorist we arrested," said Brij Lal, ADG Law & Order, Uttar Pradesh.
