Shahzad confesses role in 2008 Delhi blasts

Another accused named - Shahzad Ahmed, has been arrested in Azamgarh, in connection to the Delhi serial blasts in September 2008, which left 30 dead and 100 injured.

Ahmed is charged with planting a bomb at the children's park near India Gate and another at Gaffar Market. Uttar Pradesh's anti-terror squad arrested him from his village.

He is also allegedly one of the 5 militants that were holed up in Batla House on 19th September 2008, during a 2-hour encounter with police. Where, 2 militants were killed, 1 was arrested but Shahzad and co-accused Junaid escaped.
