Congress leader Digvijay Singh raised questions regarding the Batla House encounter that took place in Delhi last year between the police and alleged suspects in the Delhi serial bombings.
Mr. Singh said he had raised doubts over the encounter and had apprised the Prime Minister with his suspicions.
Mr. Singh also said Batla house encounter is a sad story with the incident in which two youths and a policeman were killed.
He was shown black flags by members of the Ulema Council, when he arrived there to soothe the families whose wards have been arrested in connection with terror-related incidents in the last 2 years.
The Ulema Council was formed in the backdrop of Batla House encounter just before the Lok Sabha elections last year.
