Indradhanush Gas Grid Limited (IGGL) has achieved 85.35% cumulative physical progress as of August 31, driven by steady advances in pipeline laying, station construction, and allied facilities, Chairman Bhaskar Chowdary Nettem said.
Speaking at the company’s annual general meeting, he highlighted significant milestones in the execution of the North-East Gas Grid Project — a project of national importance aimed at providing reliable natural gas infrastructure to the region.
Key achievements during the year include completing the country’s longest Brahmaputra Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) river crossing and commissioning the first pipeline segment from Baihata to Bishwanath, marking IGGL’s formal transition into the operations and maintenance phase, the company said in a release on Friday.
