Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has extended its 15-year partnership with Kingfisher Plc, a leading UK and European home improvement retailer, to drive an AI-powered transformation across its operations.
Under the new agreement, TCS will help Kingfisher enhance operational efficiency through automation and artificial intelligence, establishing a joint ‘Innovation and Automation Office’ to integrate emerging technologies and reduce costs.
TCS will also introduce a domain-focused application support model and deploy its AI-driven platforms, including ignio™ and its generative AI-powered Application Reliability Engineering solution, to enable predictive and proactive IT management.
Dave Haycocks, IT Services Director at Kingfisher, said the collaboration will make IT operations “more agile and efficient” to support business growth and improve customer experience.
TCS, which has been Kingfisher’s largest technology partner for digital engineering, SAP integration, and business process services, will leverage its deep retail expertise to accelerate innovation and enhance customer engagement across Kingfisher’s brands — B&Q, Screwfix, Castorama, Brico D‚p“t, and TradePoint.
Shekar Krishnan, Business Unit Head, Retail UK and Europe at TCS, said the renewed alliance will help Kingfisher “innovate faster and build future-ready operations” through AI, automation, and contextual knowledge.
