Benchmark equity indices Sensex and Nifty continued to trade lower on Friday after a three-day rally, dragged by IT stocks and caution ahead of the Budget presentation on February 1.
At 10:40 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 82257.93 down by -308.44 points or by -0.37 % and then NSE Nifty was at 25279.6 down by -139.3 points or by -0.55 %.
Sensex touched intraday high of 82282.39 and intraday low of 81941.03 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 25323.15 and intraday low of 25218.95
The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were ITC Ltd. (Rs. 322.40,+1.18%), Hindustan Unilever Ltd. (Rs. 2369.30,+0.75%), Axis Bank Ltd. (Rs. 1374.55,+0.75%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd. (Rs. 1424.50,+0.61%), Bharat Electronics Ltd. (Rs. 446.75,+0.51%), among others.
