The Indian benchmark equity indices extended their losses for a third straight session on Wednesday, as investors remained cautious over the escalating situation in the Middle East amid rising tensions between the US and Iran.
The Sensex ended at a 10-month low, while the Nifty50 slipped to its lowest level in more than six months.
The 30-share benchmark index ended at 79116.19 down by -1122.66 points or by -1.4 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24480.5 down by -385.2 points or by -1.55 %.
