Indian benchmarks continued to trade lower during the late noon trading session on Thursday. In the broader markets, the Nifty MidCap and the Nifty SmallCap were trading 1.46 per cent and 0.92 per cent down, respectively.
On the corporate front, Shares of MTAR Technologies hit a new high of ₹6,341.80, as they rallied 12 per cent on the BSE in Thursday’s intra-day trade. Shares of non-banking finance company IIFL Finance surged nearly 6 per cent to hit an intraday high of ₹473. While shares of FMCG major Hindustan Unilever Ltd (HUL) slipped over 3 per cent in today’s trade.
At 14:29 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 76979.58 down by -516.78 points or by -0.67 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24055.05 down by -122.6 points or by -0.51 %.
The BSE Sensex touched intraday high of 77214.55 and intraday low of 76258.86 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 24061.1 and intraday low of 23796.85.

The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Eternal Ltd. (Rs. 247.80,-2.46%), Hindustan Unilever Ltd. (Rs. 2259.00,-2.34%), Tata Steel Ltd. (Rs. 211.40,-2.08%), UltraTech Cement Ltd. (Rs. 11588.50,-2.04%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd. (Rs. 1628.45,-1.95%), among others.
