Mid-Session: Sensex up 734 points; IndiGo, Titan top gainers

Indian equity benchmarks continued their upward momentum on Friday, posting strong gains for the second consecutive session. The rally was driven by robust buying interest in banking and financial stocks, along with broad-based participation across the market, which helped boost overall investor sentiment.



At 12:30 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 74566.73 up by 734.18 points or by 0.99 % and then NSE Nifty was at 23346.2 up by 184.6 points or by 0.8 %.



Sensex touched intraday high of 74859.16 and intraday low of 74453.39 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 23455.95 and intraday low of 23322.65



The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were InterGlobe Aviation Ltd. (Rs. 4646.70,+3.22%), Titan Company Ltd. (Rs. 4110.70,+2.13%), Eternal Ltd. (Rs. 240.25,+2.13%), Bajaj Finance Ltd. (Rs. 887.15,+1.94%), Larsen & Toubro Ltd. (Rs. 3930.80,+1.85%), among others.



The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 1437.20,-1.88%), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (Rs. 283.50,-1.10%), Tata Steel Ltd. (Rs. 196.90,-0.56%), HCL Technologies Ltd. (Rs. 1105.65,-0.39%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd. (Rs. 1783.95,-0.19%), among others.



CGS index was at 78320.26 up by 1159.1 points or by 1.5%. Data Patterns (India) Ltd. (Rs. 4549.60,+8.15%), Jyoti CNC Automation Ltd. (Rs. 666.85,+5.25%), Inox Wind Ltd. (Rs. 85.18,+5.03%), Siemens Energy India Ltd. (Rs. 3573.30,+4.80%), Apar Industries Ltd. (Rs. 15218.15,+4.52%),.



Oil&Gas index was at 25648.24 down by 66.43 points or by 0.26%. Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. (Rs. 244.80,-3.07%), Oil India Ltd. (Rs. 418.00,-2.65%),.



The Market breadth, indicating the overall strength of the market, was weak. On BSE out of total shares traded 4361 , shares advanced were 3000 while 1139 shares declined and 222 were unchanged.
